Yoga Teachers

Prof. Patxi Lizardi is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher who appears to be based in Madrid, Spain. He teaches at the EYI-Centro de Yoga Iyengar de Madrid-Sol.

Student of Faeq Biria since 1982, certified Iyengar Yoga teacher since 1986, he is the director of this Yoga Center since its founding, in 1991.

He has attended classes at the Pune Institute (India) since 1984, with a continuous stay of six months in 1988-89, and from 1991 to 2020 he has attended Pune every year, without exception, with minimum stays of one month. After the coronavirus pandemic, he continues with his regular visits to the Institute.

He has been a teacher’s trainer since 1994.

He had the honor of participating in the edition of the works that Guruji Yogacharya BKS Iyengar wrote from 1991 onwards.

He was appointed by Yogacharya BKS Iyengar to be responsible for the translation of his entire work into Spanish (published by Ed. Kairós).
