Abhijata is one of the most experienced teachers at RIMYI in Pune at the age of 38 and has been involved with the practice and philosophy of yoga since the age of 16. As granddaughter of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar she was taught by him – as well as by Geeta and Prashant, her aunt and uncle.

She travelled with BKS Iyengar to conventions in Russia and China and also accompanied Geeta to international conventions in England, Australia and the USA.

Abhijata teaches in English, translation is not provided. Basic knowledge of IYENGAR Yoga is required (about 1 year of practice). Any qualified interested person (worldwide) can participate.

Private recordings of the workshop are not allowed. The BKSSN Trust will provide a recording after the workshop for the participants to access & further practice.
